Diploid: 

Diploid refers to a cell having two sets of chromosomes, one maternal and one paternal. Strawberries are diploid because they have two sets of chromosomes.

Ethylene: 

Ethylene is an organic compound and natural plant hormone which causes fruit to ripen. The banana is ripe due to the presence of ethylene.\

Mimicry (Mullerian):

Mullerian mimicry is when an organism has warning signs and is similar to another deadly organism. This lizard is akin to a yellow and black frog, both posinous.

Mimicry (Batesian):

Batesian Mimicry is when one organism mimics another, which is more deadly. This is actually a lizard without legs. It mimics a snake so predators are wary.

Different alleles

The flower is the same, the colors are different. They have different alleles for this phenotype.

These two flowers also have different alleles for color.

These two pine trees have different alleles for their leaves.

Eukaryote:

Eukaryotes are organisms with a nucleus in their cells. They have membrane bound organelles compared to the prokaryotes. This antelope is a organism with eukaryotic cells making it a eukaryote.

Tropism:

Tropism is a taxis in which flowers face towards the sun. This flower is facing towards the sun as best it can. This shows that it is affected by where the sunlight is.

Phenotype:

A phenotype is a visible characteristic caused by genes. This snakes green color is a phenotype.

Genetically Modified Organisms:

GMO's are organisms that have been modified in a lab for better or worse. Corn has been a GMO for a while. They have enhanced it to make it bigger and healthier.

Flock/Herd:

This group of flamingos is a flock. A flock is a group of the same species together.
