A climax community is a community where vegetation has grown and matured and the community has reached its peak. It is stable because the plants and organisms living there are best suited for that community. I chose my backyard. Over the years much vegetation has grown, and a lot has dies. The plants that are there now are the ones that are the best suited of the environment.
