Big idea 4

This picture represents altruistic behavior(#1).This represents selflessness. something that Jesuit represents and stands for. The motto is "Men For Others."
This picture is of a river biome(#3). In this Biome there lives fish, birds, mammals, reptiles, and much more. this a fresh water river.
This is a forest Biome(#3). This biome there lives mammals, reptiles, and birds mainly, but a few other things too.

In this picture there is a vulture. A vulture is a detritovore(#7). A detritovore is something that lives off dead things. this vulture was circling around looking for something.
These corn kernels are examples of endosperm(#8). the endosperm is the material that surrounds the embryo and is what gives it the nutrition it needs.
The mistletoe growing in this tree is an introduced species(#9). it was not naturally occurring here and was brought over at some time. it now kills many tree and is harmful to the trees.
Grass is a great example of a keystone species(#10) If grass wasn't around many herbivores would die and since they died many predators would follow shortly. For example, if grass disapeared that means no cows. If no cows, then no cheeseburgers, then everyone dies.
This ant is a K-strategist(#11). That means they protect their young. For example the larva aren't out getting their own food, but the workers are while their protected inside the nest.
This picture of a dog's stomach region is a place where mutualism(#12)takes place. Inside the stomach there are bacteria that help this dog digest its food while at the same time feeding itself. So both parties are benefiting.
This gapefruit tree is an example of an r-strategist because it puts no care into its young and produces alot of seeds.
