ATP is adenosine tri phosphate. it contains 3 phosphate groups, and adenine sugar group, and a ribose. Highly unstable, the molecule is a source of energy in most, maybe all?? living biological systems. Plants need ATP to grow. so here is a picture of a grown tree.
