Big Idea 4

3, Biomes. This is a Desert Biome. it is hot, dry, and lacks an abundance of water and nutrients. animals that live in this biomes are extremely talented at conserving energy and water. 

3, Biomes. This is an aquatic Biome. it is mostly water with some trees and bushes. animals that live here are generally water based animals like fish or frogs. 

3, Biomes. This is a rain forest Biome. it is mostly dense trees and shrubbery. the animals that live here are frogs, monkeys, snakes, butterflies, etc. 

3, Biomes. This is a grassland Biome. it is mostly flat with some trees and contains a lot of grass and small shrubs. the animals that live here are gophers, rabbits, snakes, birds, etc. 

8, Endosperm. This plant is an example of endosperm because it contains the seeds inside of the bud. the seeds are endosperm because they are tissue containing the traits of the cell. 

14, Organisms on the same food chain. these are crickets. they are almost the lowest in the food chain. they eat grass but can be eaten by frogs or anything bigger than them basically. 

14, Organisms on the same food chain. this is a frog. it is a medium contributor to the food chain. it can eat crickets or flies but can be eaten by lizards, snakes, or even larger frogs.

14, Organisms on the same food chain. this is a bird. it is high up on the food chain and eats most things such as mice, lizards, small animals, etc. but is not eaten by many things. 

18, Predation. this owl represents predation because it eats mice and other small organisms. its added ability of hiding in its surroundings make it an effective predator.
