23, Gnathostome. this lizard is an example of a gnathostome. a gnathostome is any jawed animal and lizards have jaws. 

25, Gymnosperm Leaf. this is a gymnosperm with pine leaves on it. 

27, Lichen. this is an example of lichens on a rock. it is a lichen because it is a fungus. 

28, Modified leaf of a Plant. this leaf is modifed because it has prickles to defend against predators. it has evolved and grown these so it can survive.

29, Modified root of a plant. this potato is a modified root of a plant because it helps absorb nutrients for the plant. 

30, Modified stem of a plant. this rose bush is an example of modified stem of a plant. the stem has thorns to help protect the plant against predators

38, Seedless vascular plant. this is a fern, which is a seedless vascular plant. it does not have seeds, and uses vessels to transfer nutrients and water throughout the cells.

39, Tetrapod. this giraffe is a tetrapod. a tetrapod is any animal with four feet or any object with four supporting limbs.
