(Big Idea 4 #5)  Commensalism is a symbiotic relationship in which one organism benefits and the other is neither helped, nor harmed.  The moss on the tree is commensalism because the moss is on a point where it can gain more sunlight than if it was on the ground.  The tree is not hindered or helped by the presence of moss.
