Big Idea 3-1

1) Diploid- containing two complete sets of chromosomes, one from each parent. This is an image of a veiled chameleon. It is hard to see because it blends in with the plants at the top really well. Veiled chameleons, some other reptiles and amphibians, mammals, and some invertebrates and plants are diploid organisms. They reproduces sexually, too.
