Big Idea 1-13

13) Bryophytes- organisms without vascular tissue that usually live in moist dark places that reproduce by spreading spores. Examples are mosses, liverworts, and hornworts. Plants near these benefit from the water and nutrients they collect. The above image is of moss in the damp crevices of cement where dirt pokes through.
