12. bilateral symmetry: Bilateral symmetry means that an organism can be divided into two equal halves by drawing a line down the center. The Red Panda in the photo is an example of bilateral symmetry; by drawing a line down the center of the Red Panda vertically, the Red Panda is divided into two equal halves.
