3. ATP: ATP stands for adenine tri-phosphate and is used to power the cell. ATP can power endergonic reactions, which means that in order to perform actions that are endergonic (requires energy), we use ATP power that reaction. The Yellow Backed Duiker is able to move and react due to the ATP it creates from converting glucose and oxygen into carbon dioxide and water. (C6H12O6 + 6O2 --> 6CO2 + 6H2O + energy: heat and ATP)
