8. arachnid- An arachnid is an arthropod of the class Arachnida. Members of the class Arachnida include spiders, scorpions, ticks, and mites. Arachnids have recognizable traits such as exoskeletons, 4 pairs of legs, and is divided into two major body regions: the cephalothorax and the abdomen. The Rose Hair Tarantula is a part of the class Arachnida and as result, contains these characteristics.
