11. Artificial Selection - Artificial selection is the process of breeding animals or plants for a certain trait. Artificial selection is what has given us corn, broccoli, and even the many breeds of dogs (which use to be bred for a particular job). Broccoli has been artificially selected to grow in their present state by suppressing the flower development of wild mustard.
