16. Phenotype - The phenotype of an organism is the outward appearance of it. The traits seen are a product of the genes, however the phenotype and genotype of an organism may vary, such as a heterozygous haired person may look like a homozygous person but is really note. This example can be applied to the tomato. For example, tomatoes can be bred to be small or large, and as seen, the tomato is small, which is its phenotype.
