Big Idea 1

3. Adaption of a Plant - An adaption of a plant is a trait or feature that allows them to grow and thrive in a certain area, while not in another. Such adaptions are what allow for cactuses to live in the desert or seaweed to grow in water. Seaweed is flexible to move with the water currents, and lack strong water transport systems, which they do not need being in water.
