15) cnidarian: a cnidarian is a member of the phylum Cnidaria. A cnidarian is found mostly in aquatic environments. A cnidarian has specialized stinging structures in the tentacles surrounding its' mouth. This sea anemone is a cnidarian because it has tentacles capable of stinging surrounding its' mouth.
