#3... evidence of different alleles

This is my cat! she demonstrates evidence of different alleles(big idea 3 # 7) becuase she is grey and white, a case of codominance. In this genetic circumstance, two seperate alleles are present(one maternal, one paternal) that both code for color. the seemingly random pattern of these different colors is due to one protien expressed in a certian area and another in a different area, making a marbled pattern. If this were somehow due to a single allele, the pattern would be fixed amoung all member of the species with that genotype, not random like this.
